About me

Summary

With over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, I am passionate about creating and delivering innovative, smart, and reliable solutions that delight our customers and stakeholders. As the Head of Research and Development at Proemion, a leading provider of telematics solutions for industrial vehicles, I lead a talented and diverse team of engineers and developers who work on cutting-edge technologies and projects that power the company's growth and success.

My core competencies include most of the tech surfaced since I started my professional career in 2000: SPA, Embedded, SQL, APIs, DevOps, automation, continuous integration/delivery, cloud computing. I can effortlessly pick up any tech or area I work on, and if I might dare I would define myself a "technical maestro".

I hold multiple certifications from AWS, including Solutions Architect - Associate and Professional, and RHCSA from Red Hat.

I am an enthusiastic adopter of new practices, and technologies. Open source lover who loves to work in challenging environments. I nurture my teams and try to be a generative leader. I am also an aspiring Team Topologies/Wardley Maps practitioner who believes in the power of continuous improvement and learning.

What I'm looking for

My motivation is to master the craft of leading technology organizations.

I am therefore looking for opportunities in technology organizations that are committed and need to improving their outcomes and align them to ambitious business objectives. I thrive in environments with blurred boundaries and even mixed responsibilities: I believe these environments give me a better opportunity to exercise my agency, cross-disciplinary thinking, and pragmatism.

An ideal position would be one in which the organization perceives Generative culture and Psychological Safety as strong enablers of performance.

My working hours are approx. 7:00 - 16:00 CET (UTC+1).
